Prosecutor is the first Line 6 Original amp to use Agoura technology. The Litigator was very popular among Helix users, so it seemed like the perfect test platform to explore the possibilities of original Agoura amps.

The amp started with the original Litigator model, with all of its tone shaping circuit tweaks for easy playing and well-behaved clipping. Then every HX tube DSP block was replaced with a new Agoura version. Since the Agoura tubes are component-based, component values and voltages of classic amps were utilized first. From there, component and voltage values were tweaked to sweeten the tone and playing response; exactly how a tube amp designer would refine and test a circuit.

The result is not a direct match to the HX version; that was not the intent. The Agoura Prosecutor is a further refinement of a favorite, with a new outlook on tube simulation and more sophisticated DSP code.
