Mandarin Rocker (Orange Rockerverb 100 MkIII)
Sound sample created with a Les Paul Standard played into the amp model with default amp and cab settings. A touch of the Dynamic Hall reverb model was added for ambience.
The Orange Rockerverb is a great sounding British rock n’ roll amp. It is similar to a Marshall in design, but has a deeper and thicker tone that sounds great in a band setting. Try this amp for anything from Black Crowes shuffles to early Guns n Roses. A couple of years ago I caught the Distillers on tour in Ventura and Brody Dalle was playing out of a Rockerverb. The band sounded great.
The default cabinet for the Mandarin Rocker is the Mesa Boogie 4x12 recto cab. This is a great, full sound with just the default settings.
Rockerverb
New for Helix 3.1, the Rockerveb is a very cool and versatile amp for rock n roll. Try this tone in place of a Marshall for a crunchier, fatter tone.
