Horizon Gate (Horizon Devices Precision Drive Gate Circuit)
Released With Helix Version 3.00
This noise gate model is based on the gate integrated into the Horizon Devices Precision Drive. It includes an extra Gate Range parameter that, when set to "Extended," drops the gate's threshold down to -90dB. Works best before an amp.

Cool classic rock patch that can play the slightly dirty cleans to fuller overdrive based on how hard you hit the strings. Very touch sensitive.

Metallica Black
But wait, it's the wrong amp! Yes, but it sounds right. Play with the EQ block to adjust to your taste, this sounded slightly brighter than the album tone but I liked it that way. Good for Metallica's Black Album tones, which are of course layered amps in the album. I used a Gibson explorer with stock pickups to create the preset.
