SV Beast Nrm (Ampeg® SVT® (normal channel))
Recorded using the default amp and cab settings for this model. The performance was recorded using an ESP "The Surveyor" bass using both J and P bass pickups set all the way on. A little touch of reverb added for depth. All Helix bass amp demos use the same performance, for easy comparison.
Since 1969, the Ampeg SVT has been the amp that set the standard for bass amplification. The SVT-CL is arguably one of the most popular bass heads ever, with users ranging from P-Funk to KISS and all points in between. The harmonically rich sound and legendary performance of the Ampeg SVT are redefined in the SVT Classic. This dynamically powerful all-tube bass amp delivers a thunderous 300 watts of unsurpassed quality, reliability, and tonal flexibility. Although other companies have tried to capture the classic all-tube sound of '60s and '70s Ampeg bass heads, no one can touch the SVT.
This model is for the amp's "normal" channel. Try the "bright" model for more brightness and clarity.
Black Rusty Bass Tone
This tone is modeled on the bass guitar chain of Rusty Sanchez, bassist for Black Monday. It's a straight ahead rock and roll bass tone of a SansAmp into an SVT.
