Adriatic Delay, the Helix model of a BOSS® DM-2 w/ Adrian Mod

Recorded with a variation of the "Killer Cleans" patch found on this site. Recorded with a Stratocaster featuring Seymour Duncan SSL single coils.

The Adriatic delay is based on a modified Boss DM-2. It is one of the favorite delays on the Helix, with some even suggesting that Line 6 should sell this effect as it's own pedal. That's quite an endorsement.

Here's some info from Ben Adrian himself, courtesy of a Facebook comment:
The Adriatic delay was kind of an accident. I wanted to give the DM-2 model more time than what was available stock, so I added the ability to virtually add more BBD chips. I added a few more features and we decided that it would be best to have a stock DM-2, with all of its features and weaknesses, because the weaknesses are part of the sound. In addition, we'd put in my modded version, which is a bit more tweaky and may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Same Power

I put this together for the song Same Power by Jeremy Camp, but I started playing around with it with the Minotaur and Adriatic Delay turned off, and it's just a really nice lead tone with lots of potential tonal variation. It sounds good with either neck or bridge pickups (or both), and responds well to rolling back the volume and tone knobs.

Revv Gen Red

This is the same patch made by Jorge but for the HX Stomp, I used my app (https://sensationnel-gerard-26922.herokuapp.com/) to visualize the parameters and recreated the patch. The original had two cabs in parallel but I had to sacrifice one and use an amp+cab block instead. I really like this one.

Placate

This is my main church preset. This uses the Placater Clean and Placater Dirty models to provide four snapshots of clean to hi-gain tone. Two additional snapshots are for swells and ambient tones. The preset uses an IR (OwnHammer 212 VC30 BLU-93 OH1-07) but replace with the default Placater cabinet and should be about the same. Dialed in with a PRS S2 Single Cut (humbuckers) w/ input pad on.

Legacy Llama

Legendary Drive and The Alpaca Rouge into a HiWatt in stereo. Fat, loose OD sounds without getting flubby. Works well with humbuckers. You may have to boost the drive settings if using single coils.

Brothers Osborne - Stay A Little Longer

This patch is inspired by the tone of The Brothers Osborne's "Stay A Little Longer." The preset is based on the Silvertone 1484 (aka Mail Order Twin), a documented feature of the John Osborne live rig. I also recommend trying this out with a Fender DRRI (US Deluxe Nrm), as this is a slightly cleaner take on the tone.
