Helix currently supports 111 amplifier models, 276 effects, 56 speaker cab models, and 16 microphones. On top of all that you also have the ability to load Impulse Responses (IRs) that you can grab from free or paid sources. Go have fun.
Retro Reel (Line 6 Original)
Released With Helix Version 3.10
Recorded with a Les Paul Standard into the Princeton Reverb amp model, with the Retro Reel modulation at the end of the chain. The modulation effect was increased to best represent it in the sound sample.
This model simulates the effect of playing back a tape from an old-school analog tape player. There are various parameters to make the simulated playback warble, distort, flutter, and speed up or slow down. There are also high and low cut settings.
At default settings it's a very subtle effect that fattens up your tone a bit.
Tip: Play with the saturation, you may find that this effect works as a drive pedal too.

The clean tone was inspired by a JHS video where he demonstrates a clean tone using a maxed out Fuzz Face. Yes. Let that sink in. Then I added progressively dirtier tones and set it up using command center for the HX Stomp footswitches.
