HX Stomp

HX Stomp & HX Stomp XL patches are supported by all Helix devices.

Description

Upon learning of the guitar rig for James Valentine of Maroon 5, I've put together this little patch. You can learn more about Valentine's rig at the Youtube link, but the core of his sound is:

Tele style guitar + stereo clean amps

For his live rig (covered in the video), he runs Suhr and Matchless amps. However, this patch is based on Divided by 13 9/15, as he mentioned most Maroon 5 recordings were done on such an amp. I recommend playing around with the Matchstick amps for an alternate flavor. A wah pedal is in the second block, but if an expression is not available, I recommend the Autofilter set to Low-Pass with sensitivity around 75% (depends on your guitar's output).

Extra Power Cable for your HX Stomp

I've been using one of these power supplies permanently zip-tied to my pedalboard, and it's been very handy to keep the original power supply around for off-board usage. Plus it's cheap and works well.
