If you're looking for an authentic vintage tape delay, the Maestro Echoplex EP-3 Solid State delivers with its '70s sound. Mike Battle's solid state technology makes these models much more durable and affordable than their tube-wielding ancestors. The EP-3 introduced the FET preamp that was frequently used by players without an echo effect at all to, as Tom Verlaine has said, "goose it up."

This is my default preset for my 6 String guitars these days. Litigator handling Clean and mid-gain, and Badonk handling mid gain to high gain. 4 Snaps -- Litigator Clean, Litigator Drive, Badonk Green, and Badonk Red. FS2 activates a faux Organ sound (sounds great with snapshot 2), Stomps sprinkled in for compression, Fuzz, and time-based effects.

Vibrolux Kitchen Sink
The preset features a clean Vibrolux with two gain options; the EQ is set in front of the amp with a boost and there is a Kinky Boost between the amp and cab with a boost. It also has a transistor tape delay, chorus, and reverb - season to taste. I use this with my single coil guitars, but it should work fine with humbuckers. It's a sort of generic, catch-all preset.
