'63 Spring (Line 6® Original)
Recorded with a Telecaster using the Fender Twin Reverb amp model. The reverb settings are unmodified from default.
Based on a 1963 Fender brown spring reverb head unit. This is the only spring reverb available in the Helix, and is therefore very popular for amp-like reverb sounds.

Hellbound Fender for Powercab
This tone is an attempt to capture the live tone of one of my favorite guitarists, Luis from Hellbound Hayride. It's a juicy, dirty Fender sound with some delay and reverb. The tone does not have a cab emulation in it, it uses the Powercab for that.Powercab SettingsSet the Powercab to the "Vintage" (Celestion Vintage 30) speaker emulation and turn it up!

Derailed Ingrid patch, showing the Trainwreck amp model of the Helix. The Dhyana Drive is included, but not enabled by default. I have been making good use of the "Double Take" modulation effect, it adds a lot of body to the sound through headphones. If you're playing into a PA or direct recording, you may want to turn off this effect.You can hear various degrees of distortion in the Soundcloud demo - I didn't change anything except the attack of my pick.In the Soundcloud demo I am playing a Les Paul standard with a Burstbucker in the bridge.

Dual Overdrives
I use this as a template. Clean amp with two overdrives in front. The first one in the chain with high gain and medium volume, and the second with low gain and high volume. Add-on additional effects as needed.

Dimed Tweed Les Paul
From Joost Assink: I had set myself the goal to master all the parts in the epic final solo of Hotel California in my downtime during this crisis. I found out there are 11 parts!! (6 electric guitars, 2 acoustic guitars, 1 bass part, the organ part and of course programming drums). Well, it took a little longer than expected. I recorded all electric guitars and the bass using line 6 helix into an Apollo X8. I recorded the acoustic guitars with a stereo set of Neumann KM184s and I mixed everything in the new Universal Audio Luna DAW. I used a custom patch based on the tweed amp with a custom IR for all the electric guitars and I use the standard Cali 1 bass preset for the bass guitar. For the solos, I enabled a tube screamer, and for the telecaster parts, I added the script mod phaser pedal. For the reggae rhythm, I enabled the Wah pedal in a fixed position and for the supporting electric guitar lines, I added a little bit of chorus.
