Helix currently supports 111 amplifier models, 276 effects, 56 speaker cab models, and 16 microphones. On top of all that you also have the ability to load Impulse Responses (IRs) that you can grab from free or paid sources. Go have fun.
Plate (Line 6® Original)
Based on a studio Plate reverb. Similar to the spring, in its metallic resonant quality. Plate reverbs consisted of a thin metal sheet suspended inside a box.
This reverb is well-liked because it can add a "3D" effect to your tone.

Slash Mod 2204
Most of the Slash patches I get all sound thin and frankly a little weird. He has a very straightforward tone. I tried to capture the spirit of his tone here. It's a bit fuzzy but I think it works well in a mix or for some headphone soloing. Sorry for the horrible soloing in my SoundCloud demo. My 6 year old thinks I sound great....

Van Halen One for Stomp
This is a simple patch for achieving a close approximation of the sound on the Van Halen 1 album. Reverb is on the right and more direct signal on the left which is like the album. You can simply move the move the reverb up out of the path 2 back into path 1. I have a video with me going through various songs from the album. In the video I am using my EB MM Axis that is about 20 years old now. The pickups in that guitar are amazing.

Fullerton Flyboard
This patch was provided to me by my teacher Josh Skaja. It's an all-purpose patch that you can use for performing a number of pop songs. Two distortion pedals allows for some great gain staging. The modulation blocks are really versatile as well. In this YouTube video I'm using it with the delay and Dimension blocks to play Message in a Bottle. ZZ Top - La Grange
OK - you're gonna start up this patch and hit a big open A chord at full volume, and it's gonna sound like crap. Read on...This patch is all about your guitar's volume pot. To play the intro, get your volume super low. Then turn it a bit to play rhythm, and let it crank for the solos. I suggest a single coil or filtertron pickup, but humbuckers can do the job too. Billy Gibbons uses extremely light guitar strings and that's part of the sound too.

Two snapshots - "Dammit" is straight up early 2000's punk rock dirt. "Adam" is a clean tone. The third footswitch allows you to turn reverb on and off.Tom Delonge used a variety of amps and guitars throughout the years, from AC30's to Rectifiers. The Revv amp is a good match for the album tones. Use a hot passive pickup on your guitar to get close. (JB, Gibson Dirty Fingers, and of course the Duncan Invader).
