The Helix for the Next 10 Years
Dimed Tweed Les Paul
From Joost Assink: I had set myself the goal to master all the parts in the epic final solo of Hotel California in my downtime during this crisis. I found out there are 11 parts!! (6 electric guitars, 2 acoustic guitars, 1 bass part, the organ part and of course programming drums). Well, it took a little longer than expected. I recorded all electric guitars and the bass using line 6 helix into an Apollo X8. I recorded the acoustic guitars with a stereo set of Neumann KM184s and I mixed everything in the new Universal Audio Luna DAW. I used a custom patch based on the tweed amp with a custom IR for all the electric guitars and I use the standard Cali 1 bass preset for the bass guitar. For the solos, I enabled a tube screamer, and for the telecaster parts, I added the script mod phaser pedal. For the reggae rhythm, I enabled the Wah pedal in a fixed position and for the supporting electric guitar lines, I added a little bit of chorus. Guitar and Mic
This is a cool patch for singers/songwriters. 1. Plug your guitar into the regular L/Mono input2. Plug your mic into the L/Mono Aux-in input (on the right hand side of the HX Stomp) - this adapter will allow you to easily hook a standard XLR mic to the HX Stomp or Helix.There you go - adjust the amp to taste.

Legacy Llama
Legendary Drive and The Alpaca Rouge into a HiWatt in stereo. Fat, loose OD sounds without getting flubby. Works well with humbuckers. You may have to boost the drive settings if using single coils.

Tele Boogie
I really like the Mesa Lone Star amps, but I didn't really care for the stock Helix patches featuring the amp. This tone has 3 snapshots, clean, overdriven and dirty. I used my trusty Telecaster to create the patch and Soundcloud sample below.I'm re-discovering the Double Take model on Helix, which is great for headphones, it gives the sound better space and ambience. If you're going to an amp or recording, you may want to turn this effect off.The input gate is set high because my Tele is a bit noisy. If you have humbuckers or noiseless pickups, set it to taste.

Litigate 2020
This is a new version of my Litigator patch which is currently the most downloaded on this site. It has been reworked to not use any IRs, so there's only standard cabs. I also redid the snapshots as clean, dirtier, and distorted. Enjoy!

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
This is a slightly altered version of josepqr's patch on Custom Tone.To get the Gilmour tone, you need a single coil pickup, preferably a Strat.The patch has 3 snapshots, so make sure you cycle through them to get the range of tones in the preset.
